The EduNova Study and Stay™ Career Connect program connects Nova Scotia employers with skilled international students through 30-hour Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) projects. Designed with employers in mind, the program offers a low-risk, high-impact way to engage emerging talent, advance real business priorities, and strengthen your local workforce pipeline. Employers gain access to a diverse, motivated talent pool that brings fresh perspectives, global experience, and in-demand skills—helping boost innovation and competitiveness while building connections to future hires.
Participating employers span a wide range of sectors and are focused on projects related to technology adoption, AI tools, digital transformation, health research, and other sector-specific challenges. These short-term, focused projects allow organizations to move priority initiatives forward, explore innovative ideas, and benefit from fresh perspectives - while strengthening connections to a diverse, highly skilled talent pool. At the same time, employers play an active role in supporting the retention of global talent in Nova Scotia, contributing to long-term workforce sustainability and regional growth.
EduNova Study and Stay™ Career Connect is funded by the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency and is designed to deliver meaningful value for both employers and students participating.
